PSD Import
Turn existing Photoshop files into marcomauto projects.
Many teams already have campaign designs sitting in Photoshop files. PSD Import gives those files a practical path into marcomauto so you can continue the work as a campaign project instead of starting from a blank canvas.
Import a PSD from the new-project flow on desktop. marcomauto reads the file server-side, detects the canvas size and visible layers, maps the main raster layer to the background when possible, and turns readable text layers into editable headline or subhead fields.
Extra raster layers are preserved as project image layers, not Library assets. Before creating the project, marcomauto shows an import review with the detected layer count and estimated storage impact from the derived PNG assets.
The original PSD is not saved to your workspace storage. Only the extracted PNG layers needed by the imported project are stored, and saved projects or version history reference those same project-owned assets instead of duplicating them.
PSD Import Preview is designed to create an editable starting point, not guarantee perfect Photoshop fidelity. Complex effects, smart objects, masks, blend modes, and missing fonts may need review after import.
Because imported layered files require visual inspection and editor access, PSD upload is desktop-only. Mobile users can still create normal projects, but PSD import waits for a larger screen.
Project Starting Point
Create a marcomauto project from an existing Photoshop file instead of rebuilding manually.
Editable Text When Possible
Readable PSD text layers become normal headline or subhead fields in the imported project.
Storage Review
See extracted PNG count and estimated storage before creating the project. The original PSD is not stored.
